When an online activity become a scam

When an activity become a scam, (legalise your online activities)
keywords: online scam, online business, how to legalise your online activity, online activity, e-transaction

One of the most mistakable thoughts which most of the online users have is: we do not scam people by our activities! But wait; do you know what is the reality of scam? Or when your activity is deemed scam?

Fact: there are many online activities deem scams regardless of the real intention of their makers. In other words, an online activity might be scam even if its maker has no deeds to scam others by that activity

There are three concepts, which must be acknowledged by all users, these concepts cover in general the legality of any online activities. Which are:

Ø  Description:

I know most of you will say ok we know that concept and we apply it. But what most of users do not acknowledge that any description should be presented in a way that avoids any ignorance or misleading. In fact, the legality of online transactions base on this concept as there is no physical connection between the parties or between the party and the product (good or service); therefore, an online description is deemed the alternative connection. (A poor description might lead to scam transaction)

Ø  Information provided:

This concept attach with the previous concept but it has a speciality regarding all the details that should or must be provided to the other party, starting from your personal data (contact, name, address, e-mail...etc) ending with delivery details. It should be noted that this concept is the truly measure that legalise your online activity especially in respect of e-sales, online auctions, online service, online contracts, online business...and so. (A transaction that includes wrong information or no information or any suspicious information...etc might deem scam)

Ø  Responsibility ( liability ):

Most of the online users (especially those working with affiliate programs) do not know or in some cases ignore the fact that they are still responsible legally even when they advertise or promote a service or even when they restrict their liability. As the legal responsibility does not stop on what you sell or provide, in fact it continues to cover most of your online activities; such as advertising, selling, providing service or even providing free service. (Any transaction that does not provide rights to others might consider scam, especially in case of disputes)

In brief, what I’m trying to say is that each one of us must acknowledge and apply these three concepts in order to legalise our online activities, and to avoid the possibility of providing or making scam transactions; especially when you do not mean or aim to scam others

These simple and fundamental concepts must be your keys to be used by you in each single activity you make or establish online, as they will assure the legitimacy of your online activity and they will increase the trust which will help you in your online business or in any other online activity
